Common questions
Why does it say Skip when the weather looks fine?
Saddle Forecast checks every hour of your ride, not just the start. One hour over your wind, gust, rain or temperature limit, or a ride that runs past sunset when you need daylight, is enough for Skip. Tap the verdict to see which limit is the problem, or adjust your limits in Settings.
How do I change my location?
Open Settings in the app and enter a new zip code. Saddle Forecast uses the zip code you enter, not your GPS, and currently supports US zip codes only.
The watch or a widget shows an old verdict.
Open the iPhone app once so it can send your latest settings to the watch. Widgets and complications refresh on a schedule set by iOS and watchOS, so they can lag behind the app by a little while.
How do I restore my Pro subscription?
Open the Pro screen in the app and tap Restore Purchases while signed in to the same Apple ID you subscribed with.
How do I cancel Pro or get a refund?
Cancel any time in Settings > [your name] > Subscriptions on your iPhone. You keep Pro until the end of the period you’ve paid for. Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
How do I stop the app reading Apple Health?
Open the Health app, go to Sharing > Apps > Saddle Forecast, and turn access off. Ride time suggestions you’ve already accepted stay in your settings.
